Actually, he was born 5 Feb 1817 in Reepham Parish, Norfolk Co., England. Extensive research has been done on his early relatives. Bill Keeler wcfkeeler@rogers. com of Kingston, ON is writing a book on them. Bill is descended from Daniel's 1st cousin Hammond Keeler, and I'm descended from Daniel's 1st cousin William S. Keeler.
