Husband of Lady Margaret (Danyers) Legh of Bradley and Clifton, Cheshire who was predeceased by her first Husband Sir John Savage. Father of Sir Piers Legh, II who fought at the Battle of Agincourt (24 Oct 1415), and passed away in Paris seven years later due to wounds received during the siege of Meaux. Tragically, he was executed by Henry of Bolingbroke (King Henry IV) due to his support of King Richard II.
